Here are the Top 10 reasons to join the Burien Eagles Now!

“Open House at the Burien Eagles” (open to the public) on Saturday, January 27th from 12 Noon until 12 Midnight. Live Music from 7 PM to 11 PM with Cars tribute and 80s band “Shake It Up”!

Now is a great time to join the Burien Eagles and become one of the “People Helping People” right here in our community. Read on to learn a little more about the Burien Eagles, their history and their attractive Introductory Special available for a limited time.
According to their official website (foe.com): “The F.O.E. was founded in February, 1898 by six theatre owners gathered in a Seattle shipyard to discuss a musician’s strike. After addressing the matter, they agreed to “bury the hatchet” and form “The Order of Good Things.” As numbers grew, members selected the Bald Eagle as the official emblem and changed the name to “The Fraternal Order of Eagles.”
Well, a lot has changed over the last 100 + years, but one thing that hasn’t is the Eagles’ commitment to “The Order of Good Things” such as Liberty, Truth, Justice, and Equality; you’ll find those core values right on their logo. If that’s not enough to get you interested, here are just ten of the MANY reasons you would want to join the Burien Eagles today:

10. The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality. Their mission is to “to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope.”
9. The Burien Eagles includes a lounge where friends come to meet friends. Many consider it a “home away from home” for socializing and service, not to mention a cool beverage and pull tabs.
8. 100% of proceeds generated by their Aerie fundraising goes to support our local charities such as the Hospitality House, the Burien Food Bank, and Kidney Research and national charities sponsored by the Grand Aerie.  Once again, there are no associated administrative costs.  Every dime donated to a charity goes to the charity!
7. Members enjoy low cost hall rentals with the option of a staffed kitchen for events which meet minimum capacity requirements.
6. Delicious fundraising dinners are a fun way to meet neighbors while enjoying Prime Rib, New York Steak, or other popular entrees without breaking the bank. Check out their Facebook page here to see photos and posts of past events.
5. The Burien Eagles is a family friendly venue where you can relax with friends while your youngsters enjoy the free Wifi on site. They are even an official Pokemon “ Poke Stop”. Guests 12 and over can use, if accompanied by an adult, the professional quality pool tables in a wholesome atmosphere. There is also an electronic game and a pinball machine available.
4. Members can participate in a raffle every Tuesday for cash and prizes. This weekly “Queen of Hearts” raffle offers a 50/50 split of the proceeds of the evening. One recent winner walked away with an amazing $9,500 prize.
3. As a member, you have access to more than 1,500 Aeries across the United States and Canada featuring a host of amenities for dining and entertainment. There is even an amazing 40+ acre campground near South Cle Elum, WA called “Eagle Valley” with 100+ hookups, a game room, a large barn with a full kitchen, plus a stage for entertainment.
2. It’s FUN! Remember: Shake It Up, a classic rock band, will entertain our open house guests from 7 PM to 11 PM. Check ’em out on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/seattlecarstribute/
